My Testimony

Since I can remember I have known the Lord; I come from a pastoral family and I had many experiences with Jesus growing up. For too long, I maybe didn’t even think too much about myself, I just focused on ministry, school, family, work, my goals and that’s it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

A few years ago...<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\u00a0I was coming out from an emotionally toxic relationship, everything was going south ministry-wise and I was so frustrated with my career. When all my reality started to shatter, I started to question <\/span>who I was<\/span>. I realized that I had put my identity on the things that I was doing and I needed to find myself.<\/span><\/p>

So I decided to make a crazy decision, quit my job and move away from Puerto Rico to do an internship at a prayer room in the States.\u00a0<\/span>Honestly, I did not know what I was getting into, but this completely changed the trajectory of my life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

There I learned to spend long hours in prayer, worship, and the bible. In that time, Jesus met me and healed my heart from a lot of hurt, trauma, and shame. I felt the Lord gave me CPR and my heart started to feel alive again.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t
<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Even being a believer all that time I just felt like I had to endure, and endure, and endure everything. That’s just how life is, or so I thought. <\/span><\/p>\n

So in the middle of all the storm that I was going through, Jesus was so merciful that he took me away from where I was and literally brought me to himself. He took me in my brokenness, he listened to me, he cried with me, he hugged me, he delivered me from shame and accusation, he spoke truth and life to me and I was forever changed. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

My Journey had just begun...<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t
<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Even after that season ended, my journey with the Lord had only just begun. Now I know that my worth is not determined by what I do or don’t do, but by Him. Jesus is the one that gives meaning to my life! Everything that I do I want to do for Him, I owe him my life and I surrender it willingly and freely because I love Him.\u00a0<\/p>

Fast forward to now, I am working as a part-time intercessor at my local church where I get to partner with what is in the Lord\u2019s heart for my church, city and nation. I’m also starting this Blog where I get to open my heart and share my thoughts, struggles and knowledge, while following Jesus. It’s so scary and exciting at the same time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Let me tell you that the only one that can take you into a journey of answering the questions of your heart is Jesus Christ. You will NEVER be able to answer them yourself!<\/span> You need the one that created you to speak truth to you. He loves you and He is jealous for your heart. <\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe you are a believer or maybe you aren’t, either way there is more that Jesus has for you, my friend. Invite him into your heart, make a radical decision to search for him in this time and I promise you He will transform your life! <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
